Who qualifies
Employers hiring post-secondary students into quality work placements, applying through a funded delivery partner (sector-specific eligibility set by each partner). The official page does not define employer eligibility criteria; confirm with the partner.
Good to know
- Funding: Older ESDC material describes 50% of wages to $5,000, and 70% to $7,000 for first-year students and under-represented groups; the current canada.ca page lists only the $5,000 maximum, so the higher tier is not confirmed. Partners set their own rules.
- Notes: Partner organizations list includes Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Rates and windows vary by partner.
