Terms of Service

Last updated October 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of Grants & Loans Finder (the “Service”), provided by the operator of Grants & Loans Finder. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

What the Service is

The Service is an independent research tool that collects and organizes information about government funding programs (grants, loans, tax credits and other incentives) available to applicants in Canada and Ontario. We are not a government body, we are not affiliated with any program, and we do not submit applications on your behalf.

No guarantee, no advice

  • Program details (amounts, dates, eligibility, application steps) are taken from official pages and may be out of date or incomplete. Always confirm on the official program page before relying on or applying for anything.
  • Scores, effort and odds ratings are our own estimates. They are not predictions of whether you will receive funding.
  • Nothing in the Service is legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional about your situation.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18. Do not share paid access with others.

Paid plans

Starter, Plus and Pro are subscriptions billed in advance through our payment processor (Stripe). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page and keep access until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are not refunded.

Acceptable use

  • No scraping, bulk copying, resale or republishing of the Service’s compiled data or ratings.
  • No attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • No use of the Service to mislead any program administrator.

Intellectual property

The compilation, ratings, scores and software are ours. Program information remains the property of its original publishers; we link to and paraphrase official pages and quote short excerpts as evidence.

Availability and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including missed deadlines or rejected applications, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the Service; continued use means you accept the changes. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
