Not-for-profit employers: up to 100% of the provincial or territorial adult minimum hourly wage, plus the associated mandatory employment related costs (MERCs), an advance payment, and accommodation costs for youth with disabilities if applicable. Public and private sector employers: up to 50% of the provincial or territorial adult minimum hourly wage, an advance payment, and accommodation costs for youth with disabilities if applicable; MERCs are not eligible for reimbursement.

Who qualifies
Not-for-profit organizations, public sector employers, and private sector employers with 50 or fewer full-time employees. Jobs must be full-time (30 to 40 hours per week) and last 6 to 16 consecutive weeks. Participants must be youth aged 15 to 30 who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or persons granted refugee protection.
