Up to $500K

Linear: Development up to 50% of Ontario spend ($5,000 to $25,000); Feature film production up to 10% of Ontario spend (maximum $400,000 dramatic, $200,000 documentary); Digital series up to 30% of Ontario spend (maximum $200,000). Interactive: up to 50% of eligible Ontario expenses; Pre-Production $15,000 to $50,000; Production $50,000 minimum, $250,000 to $500,000 maximum depending on track record. Screen Marketing: up to 75% (request $5,000 to $25,000) or up to 50% ($15,000 to $50,000).

Ontario Creates' main screen-content fund, with three streams: Linear Content (development and production of feature films and digital series), Interactive Content (pre-production and production of video games and XR) and Screen Marketing and Discoverability (marketing support for funded projects).

Who qualifies

Linear: Canadian-owned and controlled, Ontario-based, private sector for-profit production companies in sound financial position, with producers who are Ontario residents with qualifying producer credits. Screen Marketing and Discoverability: applicants must have received Production funding through the Film Fund, IDM Fund or IP Fund for the project.
