NRC Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) - Financial support for technology innovation
National Research Council Canada (NRC IRAP)
No standard maximum or cost-share is published on the official NRC pages. NRC's service standards reference contributions ranging from $50,000 or less up to $10 million (decision-time tiers), which shows the range of contribution sizes handled but is not a cap or entitlement.
NRC IRAP provides advice, connections and funding to help Canadian SMEs develop and commercialize technology-driven products, services and processes. Funding follows engagement with an industrial technology advisor and is negotiated per project.
