Indigenous Participant Funding Program
Transport Canada
The Indigenous Participant Funding Program (IPFP) funds projects and initiatives that build the capacity of Indigenous communities and organizations to take part in processes under the Canadian Navigable Waters Act, the Wrecked, Abandoned or Hazardous Vessels Act and the Federal Contaminated Sites Action Plan. Funding is delivered through two grant components (policy-based and project-based) and two contribution components (capacity and FCSAP). The aim is to support meaningful participation in consultation and the Government of Canada's commitment to reconciliation.
