Who qualifies
First Nation communities in Ontario, Métis communities in Ontario and Indigenous organizations in Ontario that are legal entities with governance and financial accountability, a Canadian bank account and no default on Ontario agreements. One application per benefiting community or organization per intake; one project stage per application. Projects are community, learning and/or business facilities. Funding for one stage does not guarantee the next; a stage can be funded once in a five-year period.
Good to know
- Funding: 2026-27 application guide. Feasibility and design stages require no cost share. Funding is not increased if costs rise; applicants must cover all costs above the ICCGP maximum.
- Notes: Per-stage maximums read from the 2026-27 ICCGP Application Guide (Word file on the Ontario Central Forms Repository), funding table.
